This is an area where there is plenty to do for both golfers and non golfers alike, in both areas, with beaches, water sports, Safari Park, horse riding, shopping and general sightseeing all close by. There are four cities within an hour's drive - Alicante to the north, Elche to the north west, Murcia to the west and Cartegena to the south and two major international airports close by - Alicante and Murcia's San Javia - both within 40 minutes drive. 4 championship Golf Courses within 15 minutes drive from this property.

Green fees average £25 - £40 for 18 holes. There are 11 more courses within an hours drive. Open all year. Torrevieja (45km south of Alicante airport) is an old fishing town, with its own harbour and small fishing fleet. Bounded by the beautiful Mediterranean on one side and thousands of acres of fruit groves inland, the scenery is breathtakingly beautiful and within moments you can be driving in picturesque open countryside, where you can stop and pick a fresh orange or lemon and enjoy the fabulous bounty that nature has gifted to this part of the world.

This apartment is located just a 10 minute walk from the beach front and from local bars, restaurants and clubs. It is situated close to bus stops with regular service into the centre of Torrevieja and Supermarkets and a large hypermarket are just a 15 minute walk away.

With many beautiful beaches on this coast you can visit a different one each day of your holiday. To the south of Torrevieja low cliffs enclose and protect a continuous series of coves and small sandy beaches.
To the north of the town there are miles of golden sandy beaches back by Pine and Palm clad dunes. There are some of the best Blue Flag beaches in the area and most have facilities such as Volleyball nets and play areas for children. This apartment is a ten minute stroll to the clean, sandy La Mata beach with its long promenade, beach bars and restaurants. It is just a few minutes walk to a variety of supermarkets, bars and restaurants. It is a five minute drive into Torrevieja. The Palm tree lined promenades are an ideal place for a leisurely stroll, or to just sit and watch the world go by, or visit on a summer evening and see them transformed into a market with stalls of every kind. Torrevieja and its surrounding areas have daily markets varying in size. For the bargain hunters you can shop at a different market every day of the week. La Mata market is held every Wednesday and Torrevieja is held every Friday.

The village of Fortuna and Archena are home to the famous natural spa waters of the area. The Mar Menor area is traditionally known for its mud baths which are said to help with the symptoms of arthritis and rheumatism.

This apartment is ideally situated for those that want to get the best out of a holiday. Only 30 minutes from Murcia airport or 30 minutes from Alicante The property is in a quiet location and away from main roads. 5 minutes drive to Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca coast you could be settled in and enjoying your holiday before you know it.

In the main area of this apartment you will find dining area with table and chairs and the lounge area is equipped with settee and arm chair, coffee table, TV with UK channels, Hi-Fi and patio doors leading out to a terrace overlooking the park.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, oven and hob. All utensils and crockery and cutlery are on hand as you would expect.

Master bedroom with double bed, bedside cabinets with bedside lamps and a built-in wardrobe and patio doors leading out to the sun terrace which overlooks the communal pool. 

Second Bedroom equipped with two single beds, bedside cabinets with bedside lamps, built-in wardrobes and patio doors leading out to the sun terrace which overlooks the communal pool.

There is a large terrace overlooking the communal pool which is less than a minute walk.

Just across the road there is a large park were you can play bouls and the children can play on the swings and slides.

Fantastic base to explore the real Spain

Close by and well within Five minutes drive, you will find a Large Supermarket and the beach of Los Locos with a wonderful collection of cafes, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes, A popular local market is held on Wednesdays in La Mata and Fridays in Torrevieja - again within 10 minute drive of this property, which is great for all those holiday souvenirs and presents for the family.

Within 15 minute drive you have 3 Golf courses Villamartin  which has an abundance of olive trees and well placed bunkers to make it a challenging course for players of all abilities.  Las Ramblas which is a stunning, but short course and is most challenging. High trees, natural fairways and ravines feature strongly in this memorable course. Campoamor  which is situated, in two valleys with magnificent views and with a beautiful clubhouse to finish off the day. Campoamor requires a 36 or less handicap
and within 20 minute drive  from this property there is La Finca Golf Course where a new clubhouse is being built to service the Spanish Open and La Marquesa, Tee times can be booked one week in advance at Las Ramblas and 3 days in advance at Campoamor

No need to bring your clubs as you can hire them at the courses. In addition you can also hire electric buggies. The courses all have eighteen holes, putting and chipping greens and practice areas. There are also cafeteria’s/ restaurants where you can unwind with something to eat and drink after your round.

For the hard to please a 30 minute drive further south will bring you to La Manga the world famous golf resort, with three eighteen hole courses to choose from. What more can the enthusiastic golfer ask for!

Please note that most have a strict dress code and require a handicap card to play.

Torrevieja has it own Water Park Aquopolies and there is also a Water Park in Quesada which is a 15 minute drive from this property.

A great day out can be had at the Rio Safari park, located on the Elche - Santa Pola road. The park has a wide range of animals on display as well as swimming pools and water slides. There are also dolphin displays to watch. Further details and prices can be had on 966 63 82 88.

Located in Benidorm, which is 60-minute drive, enjoy one of the most beautiful and fun theme parks in the world. There's something for everyone: shows, thrill rides and rides for the little ones. Come and have some fun at Terra Mitica or visit the water park at Aqualandia
